This workshop will provide an up to date overview of synthetic drugs currently available, what they are, how to recognise use and how they have come to be used so frequently in today's society. This workshop will provide information on acute and longer term effects of synthetic drugs and harm minimisation information.

Participants will be provided with the opportunity to:
Hear up to date information of synthetic drugs currently available
• Identify the different common types of synthetic drugs and their effects
• Awareness of common signs and symptoms of synthetic drug withdrawal and how to manage this
