Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By completing the online registration for a workshop, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars. Registrants can pay via credit card or invoice.

Where a registrant has selected to pay for their workshop/s by invoice, payment is to be made by the due date on the invoice issued. Where payment is not received by the due date, MHERC reserves the right to cancel the registration and any future registrations until payment is received.

3. Cancellation Fees and Non-Attendance

Any cancellations made up to 10 working days before a workshop will incur a $39 service fee. A credit note or refund will be issued for any remaining balance paid. Credit notes are valid for 12 months. Refunds will require a bank deposit slip (or other proof of bank account), which must be provided within 14 days on cancellation.

Non-attendance or cancellations made 10 working days or less will not be refunded and the full workshop fee will be charged.

If you are able to find a replacement participant, a service fee will not be charged. Please advise MHERC of your replacement before the workshop starts.

Free/Funded Workshop Cancellation Fees and Non-Attendance

MHERC offers limited free/funded workshops and due to the high demand these can result in waitlists. If you are no longer able to attend, please contact MHERC so your place can be offered to another participant.

MHERC reserves the right to charge a service fee of $39 to registrants who cancel less than 10 working days before a free/funded workshop, or for non-attendance on the day.

4. Discounts

Early Bird Discount

An Early Bird discount will be automatically applied at checkout if available and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Discount Codes

If a special discount is available, it is the registrant’s responsibility to apply the appropriate discount code when registering online. MHERC is not required to refund or credit participants who have not applied the discount. Special discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

5. Workshop Cancellations and Postponements

MHERC reserves the right to cancel or postpone a workshop at any time due to insufficient registrations or other unforeseen circumstances. In this instance, registrants will be offered a place on the next scheduled workshop date. Alternatively, registrants may transfer their payment to another workshop of their choice, or request a full refund. MHERC is not liable for any associated costs incurred by participants, for example, travel or accommodation costs.

6. Contact

MHERC reserves the right to send you information pertinent to your workshop(s), and follow-up information including relevant upcoming professional development. MHERC may also invite you to partake in applicable research or focus groups.

7. Workshop Content and Resources

MHERC and MHERC’s facilitators are the owners of the intellectual property used in the delivery of our education sessions. Workshop presentations and materials are not to be copied, reproduced, republished, recorded, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without the express written permission of MHERC.

8. Online Education Sessions

Only one person may view an online education session per registration. MHERC reserves the right to immediately terminate access to online session if it reasonably believes that more than one user is accessing the session. For this reason and to allow you to interact with the room we ask that you leave your camera on during the session.

If MHERC experiences technical difficulties that result in participants not being able to access the online session, we will liaise with the affected participant to arrange a suitable resolution. Determining whether a credit, partial refund or full refund may be required is the sole discretion of MHERC.

MHERC’s liability is limited to the value of the fee(s) paid by the participant when registering their attendance for the particular online session.

MHERC takes no responsibility if you cannot connect to the online session due to your system and/or internet connection not meeting the requirements.

Participants are prohibited from making any audio and/or visual recording of the online session.

MHERC reserves the right to terminate the online session if the terms of the Code of Conduct are not adhered to.
