Supporting Children and Young People with the Experiences of Change

Ideas for the adults supporting young people through the experience of change.

Description

Aim

This workshop is targeted at professionals who are working with children and youth in a variety of settings. It explores the nature of change; what makes certain changes more difficult, and what are some ways that children and young people can be supported through managing change in a way that helps build their resources to traverse future change more independently. For as they say…a bit like death and taxes…change will come whether we want it to or not and so it’s best to be prepared.
