Aim
This interactive workshop will explore refugee and migrant experiences, principals of working with interpreters, cultural framework and values. Through this, participants will develop and enhance culturally competent practice.

Shirley has worked at Christchurch Resettlement Services for the past 23 years, and is currently the General Manager. Shirley has learned subtle differences across cultures impacts on our understanding of one another, and hugely influences how we, as professionals, engage and relate to culturally and linguistically diverse clients.

Cancellations (or non-attendance) made 10 working days or less will not be refunded and the full workshop fee will be charged.
