Overview

Menopause can significantly impact emotional wellbeing, mood, and cognition. This workshop is designed to build your awareness of the psychological and emotional changes commonly associated with menopause, including how it can affect confidence and relationships. We'll explore evidence-based strategies to protect and enhance mental wellbeing, including techniques for managing stress, improving sleep, and building resilience. We'll also examine how to have open, supportive conversations about menopause and how families, peers, and workplaces can provide meaningful support.

Learning Intentions

  • Understand the psychological and emotional changes commonly associated with menopause, and build your knowledge of the mental health impacts.

  • Explore how to have open, supportive conversations about menopause and mental health, and learn strategies to protect and enhance mental wellbeing during menopause.

  • Apply self-management techniques to build resilience, including tools for managing stress, improving sleep, and enhancing self-compassion.

Who Should Attend?

Everyone wanting more knowledge on how to better manage one’s own menopause transition and/or support women through this stage of their lives, in both personal and professional settings.

  • Cancellations more than 10 working days before a workshop will incur a $39 service fee; alternatively, we can transfer you to another date/workshop at no charge.
  • Cancellations within 10 working days (or non-attendance) are non-refundable and charged in full. Transfers may be approved for extenuating circumstances and incur a $39 fee.
