This workshop is essential for those working with youth, church and youth group leaders, sports coaches, health and allied health practitioners, teachers and school counsellors and first responders.
Dr Annette Beautrais is New Zealand's most experienced suicidologist. She has been studying suicide research and prevention and educating others on suicide prevention for the past 27 years. Annette is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canterbury and Suicide Prevention Coordinator at the Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha. She has worked with the World Health Organisation and served on the board of the International Association for Suicide Prevention.
