Sue has delivered a significant number of workforce development training in the tertiary education sector and with mental health organisations. Countering stigma and discrimination for people who have been psychiatrically labelled has been a focus of Sue's work. She has worked for the Human Rights Commission training people with mental illness about their human rights. Sue recently worked for Article 33 New Zealand Monitoring Convention Coalition as a researcher, monitoring human rights experiences for people with disabilities. Sue is currently studying towards a doctorate at the University of Canterbury.
