This workshop aims to provide a basic understanding of anxiety and how it particularly relates to children. 

  • Learn different strategies and skills to help your child manage anxiety and stress, and help them build resiliency

  • Understand how anxiety works in the body and mind

  • Feel more confident to manage anxiety in your child

  • Understand resilience and how to build in your children

  • Learn parenting strategies and skills to support children

Facilitated by: Catherine Gallagher Registered Clinical Psychologist, MNZCCP, MA(Hons)
Catherine has worked in both public and private work settings, primarily focused on child and family issues. Currently she has a small private practice and is also the clinical practice manager at START.
