Understanding and Working with Attachment in Children and Adolescents

ONLINE WORKSHOP | This workshop will provide an overview of traditional attachment theory as well as current approaches in relation to trauma in children and young people.

Description

Aim

This workshop will provide an overview of traditional attachment theory as well as current approaches in relation to trauma in children and young people.

Through an attachment lens, participants will gain insight into many of the issues that children and young people might present with. We will discuss how this insight might influence our practice.  The need for reflective practice is emphasised and discussed from an attachment perspective.
