This workshop will provide an overview of traditional attachment theory as well as current approaches in relation to trauma in children and young people.
Through an attachment lens, participants will gain insight into many of the issues that children and young people might present with. We will discuss how this insight might influence our practice. The need for reflective practice is emphasised and discussed from an attachment perspective.
The workshop aims to provide the participants with, not only a deeper understanding of the theoretical, but also the practical aspects of working with attachment.
