Chris Sinclair and Matthew Croucher

Chris Sinclair
Chris has worked across the Mental Health Service for many years across all sectors, both in institutional settings and in the community. She has had roles in supervision, training, and in setting up new initiatives. For the past 20 years Chris has worked in the addiction sector and is currently setting up SixtyFive ALIVE, a new addiction service catering to the recovery and treatment needs of the elderly with alcohol and addiction problems.

Matthew Croucher
Matthew is a specialist psychiatrist working for the Psychiatry Service for the Elderly in Canterbury, as well lecturing with the University of Otago in Christchurch.  He has a special interest in teaching and training so that the whole health workforce can be better equipped to work alongside the older people they are increasingly delivering health services to due to the ageing population.
