Aim
To focus on individual sessions and incorporating Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills as well as other DBT strategies into practice. To enhance participants knowledge of applying DBT skills in their daily practice with clients, particularly in individual sessions.

Overview
• Reminder of key aspects of DBT therapy
• Distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills in individual sessions
• Assessing problem behaviours and generating solutions
• Sytlistic strategies

Learning Intentions
Participants will be provided with the opportunity to:
• Gain confidence in working with clients and managing difficulties with regulating emotions
• Identify several key skills the clinician may be able to try with clients
• To effectively evaluate problem behaviours and generate solutions with clients
